About Me

My name is Jennifer Ramones, but most people know me as Jenni or Reiko from my years of being in my local cosplay community! I'm second-generation Filipino American, and consider myself a Jenni-of-all-trades.

How I got started:

It has taken me over 10 years of developing my skills as a model and photographer. Growing in these areas helped me grow out of my comfort zone from being super shy in front of a camera or crowds, to bringing the wow in front and behind the camera with total strangers.

Interestingly, it wasn't until Father's Day 2022 that I sat down with my family for dinner and learned that not only was my paternal grandfather a war hero during World War II, but Alvaro (Al) Ramones was also a photographer for the newspaper for Clarke Air Force Base in the Philippines. I've always wanted to connect with my ancestors in some way, and learning about my grandfather solidified my belief that I was meant to use my gifts as a photographer and bring joy to those around me with beautiful and memorable photos.

Future Goals:

For 2023, I'd love to build my portfolio with at least 4 weddings, 5 anime conventions, and 30 clients for portraits in business branding, cosplay, lifestyle, and special events.

What I do away from my camera:

I am honored and privileged to be able to work alongside my 2 amazing brothers with autism in building in-home and community skills. When I'm not spending quality time with my family, I walk and petsit dogs in my area; empower, educate, and entertain women in learning about maintaining happy and healthy relationships and learning about their sexual health and wellness. Did I mention I love staying active and healthy through teaching Zumba? I could dance for hours with some great music! I love to take my vlogging camera and share my ventures of my everyday life on my YouTube channel. When I'm not the one holding the camera, I love to make my own costumes and cosplays, and practice modeling with other local creatives.
